The game concept is there, and this is a great baseplate for a game, but the goal is a bit unclear and once you realize there is almost no goal, it begins to feel pointless. The art is very appealing though, a big attractor personally. I feel if the new stages are a bit more or some other goal to work towards is clear in the beginning or found only a few minutes in would make the game more appealing to keep playing. Also, for mechanics, when there are very few, like the clicking on the cards, it does bug a bit. I feel if you want it to feel smooth to play, putting extra time into smoothing out how each mechanic works and adding a bit of feedback can go a long way in how the game feels!
Overall, love the concept, missing clear, rewarding, attainable goal. 4/10
Cool concept and nice relaxing gameplay! I thought it fit the theme really well, and it was really satisfying to watch my planet grow.
If you were to expand on this, I would maybe consider adding a gamemode where non-like tiles give adjacency bonuses, rather than like tiles, and see how that impacts the gameplay. It may make planning a little more difficult and force the player to get creative about how they're going to lay everything out.
Overall though I thought this was a cool entry and I definitely see a path to expand this with more biomes! Great job!
Love the concept!
Really good looking game! I loved the aesthetics. Chilled me out very well. Gets boring kind of quickly though - I wish there was a bit more to the mechanics than just upgrades. The game also started lagging in my browser at 4th or 5th expansion, but I don't blame you for that.
