Solid jam entry - best run I got was 9 people at its peak, so really hard game with the cooldown management, but seems like a really clever concept! One I finally got my head around how the systems actually worked, it was fun to try to manage to keep my guys alive (That longest run was def over 30 sec long, I just had a skill issue at the end :P)
Pressing B on my controller makes a noise, but nothing happens. I thought it was to recruit people, but it seems mostly random. Not funny to keep losing without understanding :/ I like the concept however.
Well, B was for a removed unit type, for recruiting units you just have to walk on their corpse
Oh ok. Well I tried some more, and I guess corpses just don’t always spawn? It makes it a bit unpredictable :x
Yes, the melee have 20%chances of spawning corpses and range 80%, so this is expected, but the issue is more that I used true random instead of guaranteeing at least 1 out of 5 for melee for example
The spawn rate was for balance (something I didn't have the time to do right lol)
A little difficult to control with mouse/keyboard. Wasn't able to "win" if that's an option. Either because I'm terrible at the game or because the difficulty is scaled too high (unsure which--possibly both).
Yeah it's better with a controller, and too harsh at the start due to a lack of playtesting
Cool concept! The game was fun and the sprites on the little guys were really well made. Good job!
Thanks ! But the sprites are assets that I bought, the only graphical / audio elements that were handmade were the background song, the slash, the bullets and the cursor ^^'
Enjoyed the concept of collecting the little guys, wish I could use the mouse instead of movement to aim though. Also sometimes I would kill 5+ and none would drop bodies, not such if intended, couldn’t collect more than 12. Congratulations on the game!
Thanks ! For the body drop chances, I used true randomness with a 0.2 probability for the melee units so sometimes it can seem unfair yeah, I should have done a Civilization-Like system where with probabilities adapting to have a quite constant influx of corpses
I like the concept although I struggled getting past the first few enemies! :)
Fun game once you figure it out, can be absolutely brutal though where all your troops just get swallowed up in an instant, nice work :)
Cool game, the Aim is weird with the mouse xD
I like the idea and its quite hard (or I'm to bad 😂)
Well you do aim with your movement, not the mouse so it might be your problem ^^
Don't hesitate to rate the game since you liked it !
How do you not die?
You have to be really careful with your attack cooldown
And the game is a little too hard, I'll update it once the Jam has ended
I like how you gain charges for the abilities, that's pretty cool
Very difficult.
Yeah....
Interesting idea, but quite hard hahah. Great job!
This game is so hard to me haha. Its interesting. I love the game over music lol
Lol it's sonic unleashed screen E-rank, but the game song is created by myself
I feel like the concept has a lot of potential but the difficulty curve may need some adjusments (unless i was doing something wrong if so then sry)
Yeah it was too hardcore sadly, didn't playtest it that much
Interesting one, really love the design
