I can imagine there's a really fun game under here if you made the guy faster on every surface. I played the whole thing through but I found myself getting pretty frustrated sometimes especially when there would be a chain of bad luck during the last two slots and a bunch of boxes stunlocked me and knocked me down to the ground.

Cute style and the game fits the theme!
I felt a little out of control though, not being able to dodge the falling boxes in time.
As others have mentioned a little tweaking of movement speed(Up character) and camera distance(further away), would have been preferable for me. Cute little game though!

I like the idea of having to balance vertical scaling with movement speed by dropping down. I didn't feel that dropping down to a faster route was often an optimal strategy though. The slow movement speed was still fast enough to be faster than dropping down and climbing back up would be, and the fast movement speed didn't feel fast enough to get out of the way of falling objects. I think a little tweaking of numbers here and there would go a long way. Solid concept and adorable art style!

The style is really good! (I really liked the backgrounds and character models) the gameplay loop can be a bit tedious though.
