was tricky at first but overall a fun game

Well executed. The artstyle is very cute, would love to see how this gets expanded in the future with more variations.

Gameplay was solid and the choice of using a point-and click movement system with automatic jumping worked well, but I can't help but feel the upgrade system was out of place in this game. I wasn't sure whether I should challenge myself to get maybe unreachable stars or just wait until I got an upgrade to make it trivial. This issue unfortunately solved itself when the game bugged and stopped counting stars obtained altogether. Still, the core game was playable and fun.

Really nice game, makes the whole inverse tower defense game a lot more interesting!

I found the sand texture on the foreground pretty distracting, but the idea of permanent upgrades (especially the jump one) to allow going back to earlier levels and grab their stars is a very nice one! At one point however, even though I collected stars, the end level screen pretended I didn't

Probably the best reverse tower defense game I've seen here. I could easily see this being a mobile game, and it would be instantly better than 90% of the competition.
