In this game you play ordinary human. Not a hero. Not a villain. It is reversal on classic stealth game, as in this game you need to catch people who would usually be a hero of a stealth game.

I appreciate the ambition of this project very much. I also thought it looked very cool.
This one was though for me to understand how to play especially what actions I am supposed to take in order to stop the thieves. I would recommend adding some button prompts to remind players what to press to stop the thief when they are near the thief, if at all possible.

Had same issue with lantern not working after first one but i really like the idea :)
I'm glad you liked the idea :-) About lantern - you need to shine light on "Jail Bag" to stash culprit before catching another one :-)

Neat idea, but it seems like the lantern stops working after the first catch. The level reloading part is also a bit frustrating & unexpected.
