Seems a great concept well worth further development - good creativity and presentation just needs more time to work out a more interesting challenge and to get round bugs.
That's funny, I actually had a similar idea but decided to go with something else.
The art looks amazing! I especially like the final evolutions. I played to a pretty high level and got caught by the fire type trainer, the game still said I lost. The gameplay right now is very simple, but I think it would be interesting to see this idea expanded.
Overall, good job!
Had a bit of difficulty playing it through, but this is a cool concept and would really like to see updates after the jam! Especially with more of these cute monster designs!
I wasn't exactly sure who is the right trainer for my pokemon, kinda felt luck based, still interesting approach on the topic, enjoyed it.
Despite this idea is present in other submissions I really think that you presented it in a clever and special way. There are some balacing issues, but it's still a jam game so it's truly understandable. Good job!
The concept is pretty interesting, but it seems very difficult to accomplish anything in this game. It’s unclear what the right trainer is for your Pokémon, and it doesn’t seem like you can actually do anything about it if they’re the wrong type. Any time I encountered a trainer I got caught basically immediately.
It’s a good effort though, and I hope you continue developing it into something great after the jam.
This was pretty fun! I think with a bit of time and some fixing of glitches and balancing, it could turn into something very interesting. I like the idea a lot.
The game has a great premise and I would play the final version if it ever came out. The time given affected a lot, but it is pretty good what is delivered. The music and sound effects being absent is something that bothers but doesn't make it bad by any means. The progression is slow and sometimes feel unjust with the stats that you're given from the start. The idea behind it is great and the project has a lot of potential, congratulations!

Thanks for the comment! I really wish there was enough time to make music and sound effects, but just didn't have enough time. The progression definitely needs balancing which will be added along with other things in a future update. I'm glad you like it overall though!
I like your art a lot, the presentation is really nice!
The gameplay felt somewhat repetitive as there arent any special moves and typings dont do anything, BUT! i had a lot of fun:)
Glad you enjoyed it overall! Didn't have enough time to make the gameplay as varied and interesting as it could be, but that will be addressed in future updates.
