Curious idea. I think adding a way to indicate that the player is doing something right would be nice because i wasn't sure if my ads did anything. With that said, the idea is very creative and could be expanded upon, like trying to pick the most relevant ad for the user based on the pages they visit, or making the ads pop up at the most inconvenient time and so on.
With that said, the music is absolutely great and fitting for this game, good job!

Thanks! Once the jam ends, we're hoping to expand the game. Those are some pretty good suggestions! If you wanna jam to dial tones you can find the soundtrack on our composer's soundcloud :D

Cheers!

Very cool concept and I love all the little drawings for the ads! The music is way too good and fits the theme perfectly (never thought I'd be jamming out to dial-up noises, but here we are). I never got past the first level despite choosing ads that I thought fit Grandma Jenny's interests, and her reading speed is painfully slow, but I still enjoyed myself. Any plans for a post-jam version? I'd love to play a more functional version of this, but no worries if not.

Thank you so much! I'll let the team know they did a great job! We are thinking about updating the game, because we love the idea too. When we do update the game we'll fix lots of bugs and hopefully balance it out more. Cheers!

P.S. you can listen to the OST on soundcloud :D
