i have defended the treasure so i get to enjoy it myself
Pretty nice idea for the theme and I like the graphics. It is a problem though that game just consists of clicking 2 buttons, with no real decision making from the part of the player, which is kind of necessary for player to get more skillful at your game as they play it . Keep up the work though and good luck in your game dev journey :D
This is a cool idea, but there doesn't seem to be much choice on the player's part, unless I'm misunderstanding the game. I just bought as many skeletons as I was allowed to on each day and watched them fight.
Also, it seems like your sprites are using bilinear filtering which makes them look super blurry. I'm not too familiar with godot but there should be someway to disable bilinear filtering, this will make your pixel art look wayyyy better!!
Thanks for the tip! This is my first game jam and my first Godot project (aside from tutorials), so I had planned more for this that I couldn't quite deliver in time. Planned improvements were more monster types and randomized adventurers, point and click monster placement, and better UI.
