The experience of playing this game is sooo good, i really enjoyed it. The presentation is good enough to understand the basic concept of the game, i really liked the pixel art animations. Very good game, congratulations!

Thanks for your comment, glad you had fun :)

This was great, so unique! I really liked how you had to plan for the different keys and the weight of the keys you could take, as well as then introducing the shorter keys too. I would have moved more, but in the time of a gamejam this is seriously impressive! Good job :)

Thanks for playing, I'm glad you had a good time :)

Neat game, and cool concept! Having to move back and forth between rooms made this much more interesting than some of the other puzzle games I've seen so far in this jam.

However, I did get soft locked twice, and had to close and reopen the game. First was level 3, when I walked off the ledge with the other key, and was too heavy to jump back up, or progress. The second was in Level 5, when I left the 2-Key in the upper holder, and was too heavy to jump back up to get it to progress.

I also think I bypassed a bit of level 6 by using both black 1-Keys to walk under the bookcase, rather than mess with the gate mechanism.

I had fun playing this, so Good Job!

Thank you so much for you detailled feedbacks !

  • Level 3 : I don't think you can get soft locked there. Even if you mess up the upper part of the level, you can still drop keys in the room at the bottom to be able to jump back to the top and get the key you left there;
  • Level 5 : Yup you are scewed, woops ! I'll make sure to correct that if I do a post jam version.
  • Level 6 : This one I saw while designing the level, but figured it was a fine way to solve the room :)

Really enjoyed this game. A tutorial would have been nice, but my biggest annoyance was the fact that you don't jump as high if you are against a wall. I don't know if that was intentional or not, but there was one spot where I was stuck for a few minutes because I didn't realise it. Other than tat, I love the game and think it is a great mechanic to use.

Developer

Yup I agree that the jump thingy is kind of painful until you realise it :s

It's not intentional per say. I realised it in the very last minutes of the jam, knew the fix (remove friction from the character) but I had no time to play the game again to make sure nothing broke because of it, so I decided to leave it like that.

Thanks for playing !

This game was so great I am honestly surprised it hasn't been commented yet. The concept  as well as the execution are very good. Only a tutorial and better UI would have been great.

I 100% agree with you, both was planned but couldn't make it in time sadly. I'm glad you liked it tho :)

I genuinely loved this game, the main mechanic was a little tough to get the hang of but once it clicked I really enjoyed

Developer

I indeed noticed the same thing by watching friends play (after the deadline tho). The start is kind of rough but then it goes smooth, some improvements could probabaly be made to the start then.

Thanks for the feedbacks !
