✔️ I really liked the  music; it was very well made!

✔️ The games simple art style works effectively; it clearly shows what is going on.

✔️ Very creative concept; havn't seen anything like this before.

➖ Maybe add a tutorial, because it took me a bit of time to figure out what to do.

A cool twist on the bullet hell genre. I was a bit confused at the start, but after re-reading the description, it was quite fun to play. If you want to continue with the game, here are a few suggestions to make the game even better:

The collisions were not really clearly visible and it was hard to tell when the player will get hit and when not. Making the outlines of the colliders more clearly visible and adding some FX on hits (particles, sounds, etc.) would help.

The arrow-key rotation of bullets seemed a bit too slow. Making it a little bit more responsive, possibly with some acceleration/deceleration to make it more smooth would enhance the player's experience and it could also make it look better.

Overall, really good job on making a game on your own in 48 hours, especially the music sounds great and fits the game well.

The music is really amazing, and the game is pretty funny, although could be better with some Quality of life adjustment:
1) you need to see the direction of the bullets when they are connected, because when you start rotating them around you just cant figure out what direction they will go.
2) This is a personal opinion, but i think the game could be better without friendly fire of your bullets: to remand them at the enemy you always need to put them behind you, so you need to avoid bullet from the front AND from the back, often not even knowing wich is wich since there is no direction on bullets. obviusly this would make the game more easy, so you could put the spacebar on a cooldown.

Good job man! i had fun

Thank you very much for the advice! I will probably be making Clusterfire 2 and use your advice. Have a great day!

Developer

I am currently rewriting all the code for Clusterfire, but I created Clusterfire Classic:  Clusterfire Classic by CooLeviX (itch.io).

The Graphics have been updated and the direction of Bullets is shown by the Front of the Bullets being Darker. Friendly Fire has been Removed and the Spacebar is on a Cooldown.  The are also Different Hi-Scores depending on how many Coins you start with. Thank you for the Suggestions! It really made Clusterfire much Better!

Nice game!

Was a bit confused at the beginning but I found out that you can spam space to block all bullets.
