This popped up when I tried opening the downloaded game folder:
Application folder: C:/Users/hp/Downloads/CatsonRobot/CatsOnRobot_released_final. There should be 'CatsOnRobot_Data' folder next to the executable

So i followed Ecore's action of playing it in web version, but in web version, the screen shown is not full somehow which disturbed my full understanding and enjoyment of the game. Also, sometimes, when my robot has shaken them cats off, it still moves like it was being dragged still, and when I brought the cats to the rat, none of them want to attack it. They'd rather hang on me ahhaha, which is a nuisance.

On the bright side, the setting is really beautifully made, that they are so satisfying. I like the art style same goes with the game picture. It is attractive and quite distinguished. The music fits the mood nicely, sound effect is not excessive (very appropriate) and I have no problem with the control so far. This is quite an enjoyable game actually.

Good Job DennisLiu :)

Dear JennS,

Thank you for your reply. I am very glad that you like the style! I am also sorry about the build issue. I checked that it was probably because my Unity named a file wrongly. And it should work if the file named "CatsOnRobot" is changed into "CatsOnRobot_Data".

Thank you again and have a nice Game :D

I felt bad about your build issues, so I ended up looking at your page and playing the web version, I'll give a bit of feedback on that so you get some ideas for improvement.

Your art is nice, the assets work really well together! You've got some issues with collision, I don't know exactly how you implemented them, but I've got the feeling you put the movement in the Update function and not the Fixed Update function (fixed update is generally used for movement/physics). For gameplay I'd suggest adding a tutorial and making it so the balls can be put into the trash can all at once. Overall, for what seems to be one of your first games, I can already see some potential, hope to see your work in future jams!

Thanks Ecore, for your comments. Yes I put the movement in Update function, and I will take your advice on improving the coding part, as well as the tutorial. Thank you very much! Your warm suggestions really give me a lot of encourage!

And I am sorry for the windows build issues.

Have fun : )
