Okay, presentation top notch, one of the best looking games on jam I saw, albeit simple.
My feedback: the objective in games is not needed, but if You go for endless run, the game should get harder and harder. That way the player sees how far he went, and the stakes are higher, so the game gets only better;)
Oh and I didn't have so much problem with controls like others, I just used one ship at a time and it was responsive;)
Thx for that
We program game that way that it becomes harder, but progression is too slow
We need more playtests next time😁
The game is interesting, but the ships are realllllly hard to control. Also, for some reasons, starting your game had my computer start the oculus app, so I thought at first that you made a VR game
we was trying to do hard controll game, maybe its bit too much 😅
Hope you still like it 😉
I love the 2 ships tied together idea. But it felt like i didn't have much controll over the ships and i wish there was an objective to the game. Also i think the snow particles blended a bit with the projectiles.
thx for that, maybe next year game will be better 😁
Hmm. I really like naval theme but the lack of control over ships is a little bit frustrating. The biggest trouble I had was due to fog, it was going too fast and made me nauseas. I'd like to try to play this game again with more control (speed) at least for one of the ships. Maybe one controls rotation and the other the speed? And with fog option to turn off.
Also if you stay in place you're pretty much safe I guess, no missiles are coming your way.
Nice that you liked it :)
Thx for your ideas
Unfortunately, we did not have much time to polish everything.
Over time the number of torpedoes and mines increases, and when spawn, they are sent to the player, so standing still will not work for a long time ;)
Yeah, everyone didn't have enough time, we had so much trouble with physics - never again picking physics game for a jam. You had a 4 people crew right?
yeah, there was 4 of us
and thats my 4th jam already)
We also try to play with physic a little, and i think its more tie than lose jajaja
Oh that's cool, that was our first. We just set to learn UE4 and well the result came out sideways due to the mechanics haha. As for the game - I'd like to play again but without the fog, sadly I really can't and get very nauseated. Will ask the team to look at it tho.
Thx for that, we will consider about making game better, but i don't think that we will be polishing it a lot :)
ill do my best to end my queue soon and rate your project ;)
Thank you for your feedback :)
I hope you'll like it :)
