Very original idea, been playing chess for ~25 years. Never considered or played such a variant.
With more time, code could be added to allow for checks, castles, check mates, pawn promotions, AI enemy, online multiplayer, etc.
Liked it, would be interested to play it against another live opponent. Good work!

Super cool idea! The user interface is a disaster though. There's no way to reset the board or return to menu. I accidentally press quit a few times thinking it was a different button.
Thank you for the feedback! You are right about the UI. We ran out of time and a lot of QoL stuff is missing in this version. We will add updates once the voting period is over
