Some kind of objective or scoring would go a long way. Were there pearls to collect? Keep making games! I look forward to seeing more of your work.
not bad for the first game
Even with the element of 'randomness' it's kind of hard for me to connect it to the theme of the game jam.
The level is way too short, perhaps you didn't have enough time to flesh the game out, which is a shame.
