It looks wonderful! However, it doesn't really seem to fit the theme. Also, the text is hard to read, and the coin pickup sound is kind of awful to the ears, I had to turn down my volume. But well done for uploading a finished game to the Jam!

I think you have a solid aesthetic idea here, and a decent core mechanic. If you had more time to work on it, I think it'd be cool if you could buy bonuses with the coins you get (that way they have a bit more endogenous value to the player). I also think it'd be neat if there were lil peasants I could shoo away with my horse, but who would try to overwhelm me -- a tower defense game where you are literally defending towers.

But yeah, I just found myself wondering when/if the game was going to change or get more challenging. I'd love to see it be so.
