Nice game! Good humour too. I didn't play a whole lot of it though, it was a little hard to understand what was going on. Some more feedback would be nice, just to know if you're hitting enemies, or if an enemy is hitting you. The UI is a little basic, but i'll let that slide. Very cute visuals. More adherence to the theme would be nice, but I see what you were going for. I had a similar idea when I was brainstorming for my submission.  Awesome!

Edit: Just read that you had to submit early. For the time you had, this is pretty impressive.
