A strange game. The only winning move is not to play.
Also legit was so fucking buggy my friend and I died laughing. and dieing teleports you to a random spot on the map several times.
Not to mention you need 2 controllers and 2 people locally to even play it.

We've been working on some of the things that we weren't able to get right during the jam. We're working to make it easier to play by allowing key bindings as well as CPU players.
Dying currently teleports you to the next 'checkpoint' (theres like 8 invisible barriers to mark lap completion and respawn locations). We never considered how random the respawn location feels. Will look in to making it less teleporty.

The game doesn't work at all unless you can find a joystick. That said, the race idea is a cool one. I would have loved to see this in a usable format.
We were so hyper focused on getting the gameplay right, that we never stopped to consider that we should make it work with a keyboard as well as a controller. There is a good chance that we will come back to this, and add keyboard support. We may even add ai racers, so that it is playable if you don't have enough people.
I can't say much about the design, but i will say this: Boy, is it unaccesible
