I understand it's probably a legit GM:S game, but not running an unknown exe as admin.

Fair enough. It runs the exe as admin because it's using the official game maker installer rather than just a random exe. For anyone that wants the standalone exe and none of the admin installer nonsense I uploaded it here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1fsDDsXc2thdemU2K1kEf9k5ghAKVFsWv/view
