The theme for the jam is TRAVEL

Will you go to the moon? or have a beach episode? Or commit a minor violation in the rules of basketball? Whatever travel means to you, go do it!

Due to how itch works, one person will have to be the "owner" of the project when they submit. You can add your participants under the More -> Admins section of your game's Dashboard. When you submit your entry, you will be asked to give some form of contact information. Acceptable forms include email, discord handle, or weightgaming.com account name. In addition to being able to contact you about any potential prizes won, we'd like to be able to message you if itch.io reverts to delisting or outright removing games.

About That

In case itch.io's policies provide difficulty in hosting this jam, we have created a subforum on weightgaming.com to act as a back-up of sorts. After all the submissions are gathered, we will make threads for each entry in order to ensue there is a publicly available list of all games. The jam staff will take care of this mirrors after the submission period has ended, no extra cost to you!

Rules (you must do these things)

During the given time, create a computer video game appealing to weight gain, inflation, or expansion fetishists and also following a theme that will be announced at the start of the jam. Make sure your game is playable on a Windows PC!  Once the submission window ends, you will be unable to edit your entry until the judging period is over.

Entries will be judged on the following criteria:

1. Fun. Is the game overall satisfying to play? Remember, sometimes losing is fun and frustration can be, too!
2. Creativity. Was the game's central idea interesting or was it unfocused and uninspired. Try and do something new!
3. Fetish Factor. Do the game mechanics and story (either the words, or the communication through gameplay) tantalize players? 
4. Theme. Was the theme used in an interesting or clever way. Puns count!

To encourage friendly competition a monetary prize will be awarded to the highest scoring game as voted on by our judges, along with two runners up. Additionally, a Pearl of the Jam will also be awarded to a game showing great promise so even if you aren't a professional artist or have never made a game before, there's still a possibility to win!

A Computer Can Never Be Horny; Therefore A Computer Must Never Generate Erotica. No Generative AI allowed please. We want to show off the great people in our community, not their computers. If you need access to assets, ask in the community message board.

Don't Forget Why We're Here. It's 2025 so Gay or Straight, Furry or Human, all are welcome. However this is a Game Jam for and by our community so please stick to the above listed fetishes. Underage content, vore-with-visible-bones, extreme violence, scat, and ferals are completely off limits. You must follow itch.io's Acceptable Use Policy and all of their other Terms of Service. Otherwise, if your game contains additional fetishes outside of the three focuses please mention them on your game's page so the one-note among us do not get jump scared by unexpected inclusions.

Self-Plagiarism is Bad. A game jam is a time to stretch one's creative muscles so any submission must be created during the jam. Feel free to use assets you've created or purchased from assets stores before the same has started but remember that novel is interesting, and interesting is fun! We hope you take the chance to do something new.

Any entry that violates the above rules will be disqualified and likely removed from the Jam's submission page.
