I was never able to get this running! When playing hosted on itch.io, the title screen loads but after clicking start gameplay doesn't load. I waited for 5+ minutes to no avail. When downloading the game, I received the following Godot error:

Error

SharedArrayBuffer - Check web server configuration (send correct headers)

I liked the idea of taking abilities from enemies, seems like a game could entirely revolve around that concept and it would be fun.

this was fun! i liked the art, felt a little like spyro, the attacking felt a little  slow to respond, but might be my computer, overall i really like this

With the single-use abilities, the short playtime and the speedrun timer, you certainly nailed the jam's themes!
The mechanics felt a little rough around the edges, especially the abilities which didn't feel very impactful to me, but I'm guessing you made all the models yourself and that's super cool! I especially enjoyed the enemies and their whole rolly polly movement vibe :)
Plus, great choice of soundtrack!

thank you, I did spend way too much time on modeling the enemies.

There were actually 3 enemy types animated but I didnt have time to code them in.

I definately learned my lesson on focussing on the basics before expanding :)

This was pretty cool. I'm not sure if it was just my computer, but it took several minutes to load. But when it did, it ran pretty well. I really missed a restart button or a pause/restart menu. After playing it and getting killed I didn't want to wait another 8 minutes to try to play again. But what I saw was pretty cool. It was interesting how you could keep playing after you were dead. I'm not sure the point of it, but I was able to easily kill the rest of the lions after I died, but then I couldn't figure out what else to do, so I quit. Anyway, what you have is fun. If you could explain some of my questions in your itch page, that would be awesome. Just a brief overview of what the player is supposed to do and what you can do once you die. Well done!
