  • Very fun and fully functional puzzle game. Very good use of multiple clues of color shape and sound to deduce the correct recipient. Also a wonderful take on the theme.
  • This is an absolutely delightful puzzle game with a great connection to the theme. The gameplay is simple but engaging, and the 3d models look great. It would be nice for the game to have a goal or a high score counter, but these are small improvements. The core game is fun and already awesome!
  • Very nicely done! The interface works superbly well for the action. I love having to solve the identity of the gift through traditional gift-guessing means. I only ran into one issue: two identical gifts that may have been impossible to distinguish. Otherwise, very solid.
  • very cool game! very ambitious making a game that relies on good sound design to be playable, but you pulled it off well

I love the use of sounds! It's a bit confusing when there are multiple items that make sound in the same package since only one sound plays when you shake it but other than that it's a pretty intuitive system! If you expand this in the future, I'd love to see more and more challenges thrown in as you go further down the line. This was a really sweet and charming game for the holidays!

It's very neat and interesting, although it's a little bit easy. It gets quite repetitive after a while, and though that's partly from only having a limited number of objects/names/shapes etc, the biggest reason is probably the lack of score and the timer moving so slowly that there's no rush. Maybe if the timer got faster over time? Anyway, the gameplay itself is good, it's just missing some sort of mechanic to make it engaging for more than 5-10 minutes.

Thank you! We've always tried to incorporate audio into our designs, though it hasn't always worked well lol. Glad you enjoyed our game!

Runs great on Linux with Wine. The vase sound cracks me up every time… “well, he’s getting what used to be a vase”

lol, thank you! We had a lot of fun designing how players would identify gifts. The vase sound though is the best in my opinion XD
