- This was simple but fun! It was a nice take on an auto-shooter style game.

really nice gameplay loop. the transformation idea is awesome
Had to go back for another round lol
fun game!
I'm glad you liked it!
Hey I enjoyed this, and I liked the variety of enemy sprites! I think aesthetically it might look cooler if the map was dark and the moonlight rays were shinning through clouds above.
We were going for a vibe of moon rays going through clouds (that's why they move around). I like the idea of having a darker scene, and the mobs get highlighted by the rays. I appreciate the feedback!
I enjoy auto-shooters a lot, and I thought the wanting to be in moonlight was a nice addition to the genre. However, I did find that turning into a werewolf felt a bit lackluster in that I'd always take a significant chunk of damage when I cam out of the form due to the melee nature of it.
I agree with the werewolf being a bit lackluster. We tried to add two experiences for the werewolf. One that allowed you to transform at will to get out of trouble (he moves a lot faster) and a second to add invulnerability so you can beat on the bosses.
A thought I had was to allow the werewolf to move through enemies instead of colliding, thus making the "escape", just as the form was about to end, more tactical.
Thanks for playing and giving great feedback!
This was super fun. I played for much longer than I intended or expected to :)
That's what we like to hear! Did you manage to beat it? What was your weapon loadout?
Loadout is a new term for me. I had a sword and a bow and maybe one other thing. I did NOT beat it lol. I think I ended up in the middle of a horde swarm as a big ole werewolf but changed back and couldn't escape. Very interesting mechanic to be able to change before the gauge fills up completely. The timing of the claw swipes was a little frustrating but that's likely on purpose to avoid overpowering.
Nice! Runs crisply, and the interface in general gets right to the point. I felt like it needed some more feedback when you’re charging or getting hurt, it was kind of easy to miss that these things are happening. Some kind of wub-wub-wub sound while charging maybe? All in all a nice solid game. I could only get 4 (or 5?) waves in before they juiced my moon.
Valid feedback!
We had wanted to add some more sounds, and scale up the UI a bit to make things more obvious but we ran out of time (damn deadlines).
And sorry about your moon getting juiced. It happens to the best of us.
