  • So simple, but addictively fun and with a ton of content. The graphics and music really help build the atmosphere. It takes me back to the first time I played metroid.
  • Great port
  • Fantastic entry! I thought graphics were going to be too small, but they look great even on the Micro. Music is great too, with different songs for different zones. Controls are nice too, but they should be explained in game. For example, I didn't know how to use the sword until reading the game's itch.io page. I thought this game wasn't going to work on the small machine, but it fits the platform like a glove. And the game itself is very addictive! I hope you keep working on this, because you have something special in your hands. With a bit more work, it could be one the best GBA ports ever.

Jam ROM submission

Ok - understood! I attached the GBA ROM file as "MYGAMENAME_jam.gba".

Existing assets
As a port of a desktop game, all of the graphics and sound are 3rd party assets. The original game was made in game maker 5, so all the code was rewritten in C++.

Hello, I noticed a glitch in the top left corner of the map (the parts with empty space) If you try to go downwards, you will pop into the next screen for one frame, before being pushed back out again, and if you try to enter the bottom right corner of the empty space zone, you get softlocked.
