Well I can say that Christmas time can be quite a crazy time. Especially on Christmas Eve. So anything can happen, even walking to the store naked. But I intended for it to be random and silly. Cause most of this was done as I wrote it. So i just made it up as I went along. I do hope that you have enjoyed it? And plus the protagonist is YOU!! So this is your story of Christmas Eve.
Well this is quite something :) It's an interesting and engaging little story.
I admit I was a little uncomfortable with the protagonist by the end — why couldn't the previous owner just have been a woman, and why am I ogling a cashier? It's especially distracting when it's a big part of the limited characterization I get to see — and the rest is embedded in choices, such as "go to the store naked" but not "wear dirty clothes" or "drink water instead".
The latter is part of the theme of Christmas going awry at an accelerating pace, of course, but it makes a different impact than I expected when most of the protag's problems are self-inflicted. Not that that's bad...
I don't know! I've now spent longer thinking about this than I spent playing it. Take that as you will, I guess. :)
