Nice game.  Really dig the music.  I didnt' want to mute it, but I did want to turn it down a bit.  Also, SFX would have been nice feedback.  If not for the weapon fire, at least for the soul collect or the death collision.   Is there an upper limit or end-game on how many souls?  I got quite a few once I got in the groove.  The controls handled well for me.  I think the game could scale difficulty over time perhaps.  Speed up?  Fewer weapon recharges?  Not sure.  At any rate, nicely done!

I got better at dodging the enemies with more practice, it was fun! I thought the background was scrolling pretty quickly, but I got used to the speeds.

Fun but unforgiving horizontal shoot-em-up.
