Indigno and the Manifest movement.
This game it’s about put things in motion not about changing the world, just about take steps, we can move the world step by step if we walk together.
The project for this game jam it’s greater than this game for me, I have 15 years of programming, worked on big companies, that moves lots of money to the pocket of few.
This month, I decided to put things in motion, take my steps, I create CiaNCInc Studio, a collective that for now it’s only me, to connect with my roots, not only to build games, but it includes an YouTube channel to share what I know, my experiences and to provide gamedev, and programming tutorials for free only with open source tools.
I get tired making rich people richer, working hard only to give money for those who already have too much, so I quit my job in a multinational beer company, and I’ve got luck, and I received a job offer in an educational company that it’s a branch of an beneficent organization and the profit goes only for social purposes, not for an unknown billionaire’s bank account in a tax paradise.
We all know every fortune it’s criminal. Inequity it’s what makes the capitalist machine work.
This is the quest, found purpose, know that I’m getting out of bed every morning to put things into motion on the right way, better saying on the left way.
This is my project for this game jam, put myself in motion, I’m only one, but I’ll try do make some difference, if make a difference only for one person, I’ll be happy, maybe this person can do the same for others, and those can do the same as well, maybe the sound of a few steps in synchrony can became an earthquake, so we can put this unfair system into the ground.
Ps.
I’ll post a lot of tutorials I promise and will subtitle them on all languages that I speak (English, Spanish and Portuguese), now that I’m moving to a job that doesn’t let me mentally and physically exhausted, I’ll finish this game Indigno as well, keep on with the DevLogs, and I’ll teach everything that I’ve learned in the process.
