Awesome game! I love the music and being able to launch out of the water. De'fin'itely some bugs related to leaving the water. had to alt +f4 several times
While it definitely is buggy, the art and music put together make it a fun experience overall. Using the jump button as a boost underwater is a great and intuitive idea for a contextual button command. The leg-fish animation was a real highlight to me as well!
I beat the game and had a great time! The concept is really funny, and the platforming is nicely designed. I encountered some bugs: some minor, like animations breaking and having legs while inside water, and some game-breaking, like the character getting stuck on the surface of the water while jumping out and having to restart the game (jumping outside the water seems to be the most bug triggering mechanic). For this reason, I always recommend having an emergency button/key that opens the menu or closes the game, just in case the player gets stuck and can't advance the game loop.
Besides those problems, it's a nice game and a solid submission. Congrats!
