A short but sweet point-and-click adventure. I loved the humour, the graphics, and the gameplay. Also Flurl. Flurl is awesome.

One thing I would’ve liked is for the melody menu to show notes as well as colours—when I was first given a melody, that’s what I memorised, not the colours, so I had to go and ask for it again before I could use it!

Also, I never really understood why things respond to melodies. Does the place use some sort of sound-activated interface on its devices? But then it seems to be able to affect anything and anyone… Is it just magic?

Yeah the notes showing on the melody menu would be good. It was definitely a challenge to memorize the longer melodies, especially the last one!

As for why they respond to melodies, that concept got a little lost during the short development time, but it was originally related to how Fletcher is the only natural born. The music was a metaphor for his humanity, that everyone else had lost because they had all modified themselves with technology, brain implants, etc. During the game you learn new notes by helping the other characters find a bit of their humanity again.

I got to the librarian. I really like the art style! It looks fantastic. It's also feels smooth to play.

The dialogue cut against the atmosphere created by the art style and music for me. The humor and 4th wall breaking didn't land for me when everything else felt mysterious and serious.

I'd also recommend having a continuous input until the correct sequence of notes occurs. Whenever I started the note sequence wrong, I didn't like having to fill in the rest and read the failure text again.

Overall this was really cool!

Thanks for the feedback! I like your suggestion for the musical menu, we also could use a better way to exit the menu if the player doesn't want to finish a melody.
