I think the core concept works great and is very compelling. The lack of sound/music being a problem is obvious, but I also had some difficulty with the controls. It feels simultaneously like a puzzle platformer and a Super Meat Boy fail-and-try-again speedrun game, which I think can work but as it currently is it lacks the Super Meat Boy level of precision in control. Since the game is partially about the difficulty of landing precise wall jumps and throws but the controls make those movements difficult to land, it can feel like the intense platforming is getting in the way of solving the puzzle rather than adding to the overall challenge.

Still, this is a really solid concept and kept me going for a fair few levels, only stopping when I reached one of the bird stages and the bird kept glitching into non-existence every time I tried to fly upwards. Overall though, this is a great foundation!

Thank you so much for the feedback! I'm happy you like the concept! With regard to the execution and sound you are absolutly right :))

Thanks for playing!

I'm not much of a platformer fan so I only completed the first few levels, but it seems enjoyable. I wish there was music.

I really love any platformer that tries to make a mechanic work and really dives into it! This was a lot of fun! I noticed there was no level music and wondered if you needed a composer. Here's a link to some of my stuff I'm working on if you'd like me to work for this project.

I really enjoyed the game! Though some of the overhanging cliffs made a few puzzles needlessly frustrating to me rather than just hard. Also I had to stop on the level called "Double Dash", because the eagle kept disappearing after dashing straight up. I'm not sure if that was a bug or I just couldn't figure out what to do. Regardless it was a ton of fun!

Thank you so much for the feedback!

The eagle dissapearing is a bug.. and I'v been unable to track it down since it doesn't happen on my pc (for some strange reason).

You are totally right when it comes to difficulty. I ended up making levels a challenge for myself, which is not a good design approach, since I'd been played the game for maybe 100 hours during development :))

Again I really appreciate your feedback!

Good stuff! Love these mechanics, they work pretty well. With my personal tastes, this game gets just a bit too frustrating at times; if there was a threshold for the perfect amount of challenge/difficulty, I think some levels go just a bit further beyond that magic spot. Giving some sections/platforms just a touch more room on some of the harder areas would really help a lot. When you're able to throw something as the gorilla, it's very difficult to tell where he's going to throw, even just adding a basic aim reticle (no throw arc needed) would help this tremendously

This game is nice and polished, but I think you'd might want to get some different SFX for the animals, they sound a bit "recorded on a laptop at 3am"-ish, if that makes sense haha. I figure that and music are being added in later, so it's no biggie for now. Overall, this one's pretty interesting, I can see rage game fans liking this one!

Thank you so much for the feedback! You are totally right when it comes to both sound and difficulty.

I'm not much of a sound guy, so yeah.. the sounds are just me making strange noises, and it's definetly something I would like to work on.

I'm concodering doing a v2 from scrach and really fine tuning some mechanics, and your idea for the gorilla is brilliant!
