Very good entry, this one! I immediately recognized the style of the parson you drew, which is definitely a testament to how well you studied their games. The gameplay's clever, fun and interesting. The arstyle is cute and the gameplay is very polished for a jam game! I'm impressed. The only gripe I had with the game was that my weak gamer ass found the difficulty curve a little too steep, leading me to only complete 4 levels. I had the most trouble jumping over the rotating beams. Other than that minor thing, I think you did great on this one!

I’m seriously impressed with what you managed to pull off in this. The visuals are great, the tongue effect is super cool, the movement and animations feel very alive, this is just awesome. If I had a complaint, it would be that I think the kind of unforgiving nature of the gameplay doesn’t mesh all that well with the cute graphics. When I started playing, I expected a kind of calm, casual game willed with mystery and exploration, and you definitely do have some of that, but I found myself dying quite often. The gameplay in a vacuum felt totally fair, just challenging, and was overall really fun, I just think it went off in a direction not totally compatible with the style in my opinion. I hope that makes sense. Regardless of that small gripe, I’m blown away by this game! I know it’s not your usual style, but I really hope you keep working on this, because you’re really onto something here and I would love to play more of something like this.
