Hey, first gamejam i join and im wondering if the blocks in question have to be perfect blocks or if i can use rectangles and stuff in the main part of the game, kinda like tetris blocks

I'm using "blocks" very vaguely. In Dr. Mario they're pills. In Candy Crush they're candy. In Puyo Puyo they're blobs. In Columns they're gems. The idea is that there's stuff that drops and stacks.
