Because of the smashing gimmick, it felt a little indirect since the result is always delayed, although I did find it interesting. Some aspects were not very intuitive to me, I felt like certain combinations should have counted as a clear but they weren't, like square groups. As well as being able to smash dropping a horizontal piece. Maybe that would make it too easy? Not sure.
The rotation along the hinge bit made it easy to figure out how it would rotate, and the controls felt good.
Even though it's a little bare-bones, the base is there and it felt like a complete game. Just needed a tiny bit more polish or decoration.
