Primarily we used the passing of time in seasons as a cycle - the game is on a time line, so left is the past and right is the future. Also the story is of the life cycle a romance takes, and the music is designed to be cyclical as well.

I got 11 flower petals, but there doesn't seem to be anything to do with the flower. If that's the end, it feels a bit unfitting, like it's implying they're stuck in time rather than moving forward.


There's actually a bug where you can get 11, its supposed to be only 10. I've had it happen to me only once in play testing so I cant figure out what is causing it. If you were to play again and either 1) didnt experience the bug or 2) stopped at 10 petals, you would've seen the ending - sorry you didnt get to see it :/  Thanks for playing though! (And if you have any insight into tracking this bug down we would appreciate it! You're only the 3rd documented case of it so it's hard to say what's causing it. We can 'fix' it by making the game end trigger on > 10 rather than == 10, but the jam wouldnt let us reupload yet.)
