We weren't able to finish the game enough to make these aspects in, but: Mechanically, the player must go through a repeating day cycle in order to beat the game. Thematically, the game centers around the protagonist, Kay, struggling with the looming feeling that their life is functioning as a cycle she is unable to break out of.
