I love the reference to duckhunt, i can definitely see the resemblance. I love the mechanics and the art, it's definitely a 5! I would appreciate it if you checked out my game Deep Dive, it would mean a lot
THANK YOU!!
beautiful game with amazing art! Enjoyed it a lot <3 looking forward to some upgrades and more bats/interactive evironment ^^
Thank you sosososo much, and yes I do plan to add those in the future!
Good game with awesome art. Something that might help a bit is an indicator for where the shots landed. Doesn't have to be much (a small explosion animation is more than enough), but it'll give feedback on how far off you are.
Upgradable weapons would also be cool. Machine gunning all those bats would be so satisfying.
Oooo that's a really good idea lowk, thanks for sharing that, and yes I did plan to add a shop or something for more weapons/upgrades but I didn't have enough time to get it implemented (a machine gun would make it lowk a bit toooo easy lmao)
The gun overlay looks nice
Thanks!!
l like the art (did you make it?) and audio a lot! It was very fun to play and it seems super polished and bug-free. Although I do think that you could add a little more variety to the gameplay, like maybe different enemies or events to keep the game from getting stale.
Thank you so much, and no sadly I didn't make these assets though I would really make some in the future, and I hear you, the game becomes stale very quickly, I planned to add a shop (for upgrades or dif weapons etc.) but with the timeframe I don't think I could've pulled it off, but maybe soon in the near future I might add these. Thanks again for the feedback!
Hats off your effort bro. i know this game takes a lot of time. it was fun to play. Great job! If you have a minute, I'd really appreciate it if you could check out my game too and drop a rating + short review. Would mean a lot!
Thanks alot, will review your game soon!
The art of the game looks really good. I would just say make the bats easier to hit.
Thanks so much! I would make it easier, but we’re not allowed to make any changes until judging is finished. I will definitely keep your suggestion in mind
honestly loved it soooo much, reminded me of those old tvs where you could play a game like this shooting ducks
TYSMMM, and yes, it is based of THAT game
This is a nice, chill game! I love how you put all of the assets together (maybe next time try to make your own!), and the shotgun animation is especially cool. It's kinda weird shooting at your TV but it makes sense game-wise. I feel like there could be more incentive to keep playing and the bat movement is too random (especially at the start) to make the game feel good and the skill curve is just too much imo. I think there could be something like the dog in Duck Hunt where there's something that you shouldn't shoot. Maybe you could make the TNT interactive too? Overall I love the aesthetic though, good job!
Hey there! I loved your game btw, and yes, thanks for the feedback. I did plan to make an infinite mode as a option when the players reach the gameover scene, and if I am honest I was too lazy to do it, but I could try to do this in 6 hours, also honestly I was tooo worried about the game being too easy, but your feedback helps, and I do like the idea of adding an explosion animation to the TnT.
Thanks again for taking your time and going through my game really means alot, wishing you the best of luck!
Hey there! update: I have added the infinite wave option after you reach the game over screen, have a go at it, thanks for the feedback again
