What does "med school level" mean exactly? Sticky

This is the hardest part of the Game Jam!

"Med school level" means the game has incorporated subject matter taught within medical/nursing/pharmacy schools. There are some good sources on the main page (First Aid for the USMLE Step 1 or even Onlinemeded.com). A single online game is not going to have ALL subject matter included, it will highlight one small topic or procedure. Here is a quick list of some basic sciences taught in med/nursing schools:

Basic sciences: Anatomy, Pathology, Pharmacology, Cell biology, microbiology, immunology, biochemistry, behavioral science

Clinical sciences: Cardiology, respiratory, nephrology, infectious disease, endocrine, heme/oncology, reproductive,...

BUT you don't have to incorporate the entire science into your game. Pick a small component (Glucose pathway within biochem, Heart failure in cardiology, simulate different skin rashes for dermatology,...)

ALSO realize that your game can simulate a small procedure. To make the procedure MED SCHOOL LEVEL, youtube it to get the procedure taught by doctors first--so the simulator doesn't look like Surgeon Simulator (NOT med school level).
