What you have here is beautiful and fairly smooth. I think if you continue with this, it could make a great little platformer! It's unfortunate that you could not implement your planned level/goal. Great job to your team! :)

Nice concept, nice visuals. A little bit sad for the missing sprite for the main character, but I must say the UI is fantastic, and the tutorial well paced! Congrats!
The art was so so pretty!!! I wish you had time to add the player sprite because the concept art was so cute 🥺 I thought having the ability to glide was a cool idea! I also liked that you had to kinda backtrack after pulling the lever to progress.
I wish there was more to play but jams are touuuugh. I think this could turn into something wonderful if you stick to it though! I'd love to explore the world and learn more about the story :D
Fun little game and the only thing missing to the fantastic artwork i think it could be a sprite for the main character, other than that i really enjoyed playing it, btw how do i use the respawns i set?

We didn't have time to implement the main character, but we have the concept art in the game description if you're interested!
As for the checkpoints, they reset when you die, but since there isn't a way for you to die in the demo except fall out of map, which isn't really bound to happen! We plan on adding obstacles and projectiles that can damage you though

Obviously still there isn't a lot of gameplay there, I like the concept tho!
If you are planning on working on the game some more, I would maybe try to make the controls a bit faster, right now they feel a bit floaty(also while not floating).
I think the glide mechanic has a lot of potential for really interesting powerups!
Hey players!
Our premise was to make a metroidvania puzzle platformer where you hunt for artefacts to gain new abilities that would allow you to visit new places. We didn't have time to implement the artefacts, so right now you just "hunt" for the exit :p
This is really more of a proof-of-concept for what the game could be eventually, it's very short and there's really not much to it, yet.
