Thats pretty unique concept! Was a lot of fun

Very creative use of the theme! I like the balance of playing a retro game on old hardware that is glitching out and having to mash a button to fix it under the threat of nuclear detonation. The retro game itself could use some work. The enemy bullets are very hard to dodge with the controls. It ends up being best to just snipe them from far away. I also don't think the flags should appear until after the enemies are defeated. Overall a very solid entry.

Hi, thank you for playing our game!

You're right, the flags give the best feeling of finishing a level when they appear. Regarding enemy bullets, it's understandable how difficult it is to dodge, at least the restart of the level makes it not so tedious, but it can be improved of course. Thanks for the feedback!.

The game is great! The gameplay, the visuals, and the sound are all well done! It is a little glitchy, but that's to be expected given that it's a game jam game and all. It's cool that you got it playable in the browser too (which is the version I played). Outside of bug fixes, the only recommendation I have is to change the sprites for the players and enemies. I think using arrows or triangles would've been better, because it's hard to tell where everyone is looking when we're all squares.

Just to briefly mention them, I encountered 2 major bugs. The first one is a death bug, where instead of sending me back to the start of the room I was currently in, the game sent me back to the room I was in when I got a game over last time, which I imagine is just a small coding oversight. The second one is being unable to move when the game starts. This usually fixes itself, but in one attempt (after a game over) I was stuck in place until the timer ran out. The game's short enough that these aren't too frustrating, but they are things to address if you come back to it.

Regardless of all that, you all did a great job! Great work!

Hi, thank you for playing our game!

Yes, what you say about the sprites it's a better idea. Almost finally we only differentiate it by colors and done haha.

About the major bugs, first of all, thank you for mentioning it, apparently we forgot to configure those things. Now it's fixed.

Thank you for your feedback!.

Music and concept are great! The 'fix' button could do with an explanation/more obvious purpose. The art at the beginning and around the computer terminal are great, I wish the terminal art had the same treatment.

Hi, thank you for playing our game!

About the fix button, yeah, maybe a little feedback of the button when something happen in the screen is more optimal at the time, besides the pop up's is the only thing you can 'fix' clicked on them and not pressing the button. We think about it in an interactive way of the functions of a (garbage) PC. Thank you for your feedback!.

Hey! I made a video of this jam where I gave feedback to the games including yours! Hope it helps! :D

I would really appreciate it if you guys gave a rating on my game too!

Hi, thank you for playing our game!.

I've see your video. We're glad you liked it, about the enemies (virus) bullet, maybe the size is difficult to dodge it. It was to make it more difficult to go through levels, but it can be adjusted anyway. Thank you for your feedback!

Dont know if it's intentional but the fact that your mouse has to be in the screen to move is rater enraging. otherwise love the music, plus the fact that you can play it on a browser is an other positive has it allows to jump strait into gameplay.

Hi, thank you for playing our game!.

Yeah, it was intentional for a touch of stressful interaction between the screen and the botton. Could be more improved but we focused in his function, but yeah. Thank you for your feedback!.
