How does your game fit into the theme?
It's a bit of a stretch, but the theme was interpreted as additive. Like, the more I put in the more I get out of it. Eventually snowballing into becoming stronger than how you were initially.
In this submission the focus is to train your team in order to beat the final three teams/bosses. Matches along the way are indicators to your team's overall effectiveness. As you train more your team gets better, you beat other teams faster, and you grow in your understanding and are hopefully able to take the championship.

I suck at simulation games and lost the qualifiers. Nevertheless, it is fun!
Love the simulation game theme! I did lose in the qualifiers the first time. But the gameplay loop was good.
Really fun! but very difficult if you get behind early
This was fun! I lost the first few, but got a hang of it eventually. My longest fight was with mint, it was a close fight, but I ended up victorious! The art was cute too. Impressed with this, good gob team!
Really cute artwork and fun concept! I haven't played Uma Musume but there's definitely an appeal to resource management game play.
Only critiques I can think of are:
Thank you for playing and your feedback! Thank you for pointing out failure chance. I've updated the page description to talk more about it as being related to training as opposed to the potential outcome of a match (although thats an interesting idea in and of itself!)
Noted about skip and retry. Feel kind of silly not adding retry in to begin with. Literally the whole point of games like these. As for skip, yeah lol. I wish I would've dedicated more time to solving that one. It acts more like a faster speed button than what you'd expect a button that says skip would do.
Once again thank you!
