I have to say, I’m very curious about the details of the plan. How was A’s part more important than the others’, yet not indispensable? And does he actually need to be silenced or is that riskier for the group? It is also interesting how a death sentence changes things: it is the reason the group will take huge risks to escape, yet it is not enough reason for A to risk the bit of life he has left. In the end, I wonder if knowing that choosing not to cooperate was instant death would have changed his mind. I enjoyed getting to know the characters much like I enjoyed getting to know the characters of Shawshank Redemption.
