Just my 2 cents, but if you embed your game into a html page and use that to play from itch, then the player experience is much better.
To do this, create a html page on your computer, go to modd.io and on the create page, look for your game and click the "share" icon, it will give you the embed code. Just drop that into the html, zip the file, and upload as HMTL.
