I did actually play & rate the game before you came to my ratings tab but anyway, the controll’s are a bit meh, The spikes are WAY too huge, the player doesn’t jump that high, & why it resets me all the way back to start & with only 1 life, & also something i noticed after replaying the game today, The game is unbalanced Specialy at the levels where you have hard coded colours pipes/box’s idk, the first one is easy, the second one is WAY too hard, the third one is easier then the 2nd one, & the 4th one is impossible, but good try
Hey! Thanks for the feedback! I've been told about the controls but i don't know what part of the control's are bad! I can't edit the game until after the jam but i have made the spikes smaller because i've also been told to do that before, And i have removed the entire life system so you only reset in the level you are in no matter how many times you die in the level! The thing about the levels is that i didn't make them to be balanced. I made these current levels to introduce the different blocks and mecanics. I am planning on expanding upon the game but i cant do that until the jam is over!!!
Its ok, thanks for the good experience, but one thing, you can actually work on the game rn, you just can’t publish it
Exept from the controls I really like this game here! Can you play and rate my game too?
this game was really nice. The art was pretty cute, and the gameplay was pretty tricky but fun.
also if you could give my game a play that would be nice :D
Thanks! I tried to make it as simple and cute as possible with the art! Honestly i didn't find the levels tricky but that might just be because i made the levels!!! Sure i'll check out your
This is a really nice game. Very intuitive introduction of mechanics. I do personally think that a simple respawn to the beginning of the level on every death would make for a better gameplay rather than the life system, so that while learning you don't have to go back through what you've already played and learnt. This might just be me though. Overall great job! :) Check out my game too if you get a chance. Cheers!
Hey! Thanks for the feedback. I'm aware about the life system thing. Your not the only one who doesn't like it. Actually I have already removed it but since i can't update the game until after the Jam is over it will stay this way until then!
Cheers!
Unique use of ideas, and a nice score. I think this is a recurring problem with others but I'm getting some weird audio 'cuts'. Also, i dont know if its meant to be a roguelike but you could implement levels to make it better, as I just get warped to the beginning. Overall casual and fun to play.
Thanks you! Yeah the audio is a bit messed up im not sure why! And I don't know what this getting warped thing is but i could be if you misunderstand the goal. You are suposed to go in the purple box. So if you have been going beside it you die and the level resets?!? Anyway thanks for the feedback. It helps a lot!
I LOVE THISSSS YEAHHHH
Thank you!
Really cool submission, Spivel! I really liked the concept and it's performed really well in this puzzle game! However, I believe a life system is not the most suitable for this type of game, rather the players could simply reset and the player could try again! Also, I had a few issues with the audio cutting out and sounding buggy, but it may just be my laptop. Overall, great work, man! :D
Thank you! I had the same thought about the life system. Also it seems to be a reaccuring thing with the audio cutting out so i don't know if its an Itch.io thing that can't do audio done in Scratch!?!? Anyway thanks for the feedback!!
