  • The story at the start has a poetic vibe to it, and while it feels like it's saying something, I had a hard time telling what. But it has a fun mechanic of shooting the player back and forth through the entities to destroy, however it feels like it is incomplete. A good start, but definitely needs polish and time. I would say that the art and music however, and text dissolve effect are... *chef's kiss* very nice and create a cool atmosphere.
  • Everything about this oozes charm ! Lovely spritework all around . The yellow/orange text was fairly tough to read- and I also really appreciated being able to skip through the text on replay . This was hard as nails though , dying in 1 hit was **challenging**- I couldn't find myself able to beat it :(
  • Adherence to Theme and Creativity: 4 To be honest I don't really feel the game connecting with the robot part, other than calling a main character a robot. Props for creativity, I really like the grappling hoot shoot design. Gameplay Innovation and Enjoyment: 3 As above, the main idea is really cool and I like it! But to be honest some part stain this enjoyment, and makes me ask to have a game mode with a golf-like put system instead of fix lives. Technical Execution and Presentation: 3 (4) Technically I think the game is in a rough spot. Grappling randomly stops or passes corners, which makes it really hard to shoot preciesly in a precision game like this. You also left the debug button in to kill all enemies on stage. Presentation wise it is on spot, but the grappling mechanic just ruins the game for me as it is now. But in service of the other games I cannot give what I want as I played on the BBS because what we have here has a huge bug that skips most of the game. But yet again, you did make the efforst to fix it and upload elsewhere. Hence middle of the road, otherwise, i think this would be higher
  • An intriguing game that is let down by its presentation here on Itch. Please take your time to upload a finished version that plays in the browsers. Looks like the game deserves it!
  • The aesthetics are brilliant, and there is a lot of really nice polish to add to the depth of scene. Really well done. I hope to see this expanded upon and be able to play the full version you had in mind.

I played both versions of the game. The buggy version that let you go straight to the end level was way more fun, I loved the end boss! I got hopelessly stuck on the third level of the BBS version just from running out of moves. I think a grading system to reward completing a level in as few moves as possible but not punishing inefficient gameplay would be more fun and more friendly to new players.

The graphics were top notch, I loved the molecular animated background and all the particle effects--so nice to look at. The text outline make the text a little hard to read. I loved the sound and the music as well. Nice work. :)

Thank you so much! Yeah, the third level is definitely tricky. I'm glad you liked the boss though. I kind of like the moves limit, but I think it can be improved in some places.
