Having trouble running a "Tauri Application." Is there some step that I'm missing?
That's interesting, it should have just worked - if there's a detailed error message I'd love to hear it, as well as your Operating System version and anything else you might have.
It was run in a Windows Sandbox (Windows 11)
I don't have Win11 to test it - does it give an error message? Like a missing dll or something?
(Tauri is an alternative to Electron built in Rust and, on Windows at least, uses Edge instead of Chrome - so I have no idea why it wouldn't run on Win11.)
no error, there is a brief flicker of a window opening (as if it is trying to run), but nothing ends up opening. (not helpful at all, sorry :( )
Oh. Well. Thanks for trying to help. Something I'll have to keep in mind if I keep using Tauri I guess.
The soundtrack elevated the atmosphere. I did not fare well, as I could not get wood and enough food and everyone kept dying. Sometimes I could not add farms or woodcutters even though I had free workers.
Did you have wood? Farms, woodcutters and towns cost 1 wood to build.
My people kept dying :( But this seems really cool! Well done for actually taking on the 4X optional theme too.
I couldn’t finish the game, mostly my workers died from starvation. Game hints could simplify the experience. Overall it is a very interesting idea and I really like this type of games, thank you!
