Lovely art and lighting! And the game's challenging too, it's clear a lot of work has been made for this :)
Some things I experienced are:

  • When I first dashed around when starting out the game, I managed to glitch out of the map
  • At some point, the dash and the coffee room at the back stopped working after Day 4

Thank you for this constructive  feedback we are really glad you enjoyed the art at lot of work went into it :D As for the glitches we will look into them and possibly update the game after the jam :D

I love your pixel art; I’m a big fan of that style, and yours turned out great. I also really like the lighting and SFX in the game—it might sound odd, but seriously, haha. Overall, I found it very enjoyable. Great game jam entry!

Thank you very much for this kind review, we are really glad you enjoyed our game :D

Had lots of fun playing this. Sprite design is great. Music is great. Gameplay itself is very good aswell. Loved the 'perfect shot' feature aswell as they upgrades. Would have been nice to have some more sounds effects but all around very well designed. Good job!

Thanks so much for the great feedback! I put a lot of work into the design and gameplay, so it’s awesome to hear that you enjoyed it.  Combined with Alex's work on different elements, and together we’re really happy with how it turned out. Definitely keeping the sound effects in mind for future updates—thanks for the suggestion!

It took me sveral runs to realize that there's another back room in the cafe :D Before that, I just running from the customers when my "coffee bullets" is out.
Its quite fun! Will be better if the mechanics is explained while playing :)
Good luck on the Jam!

Additional notes:
- Great pixel art!
- I should check the Suno.ai now. The music is really really GOOD

Developer

Thanks so much for playing! Glad you had fun once you found the back room—definitely something we’ll improve in the future with clearer mechanics as you go. Really happy you liked the pixel art and music too! Suno.ai definitely made a difference with the soundtrack. Appreciate the feedback and support! Can't wait to check out your game later!!

shadows, light and art is expertly well done. The physics and the game feel are also really nice. I did have trouble understanding the goal of the game and the tutorial went a little too fast, i'd rather have it end when the player clicks rather than have it end by itself. I also didn't like the lack of audio and visual indicator for when im getting hit, it's just a detail though. Still, one of the best game of this jam, and the prettiest I played so far. Congrats!

Thank you very much, this is all very insightful I'm glad you enjoyed the art, me personally it was my first time doing game art so I'm glad it went well. I think the tutorials were made fast because when developing because me and Scott were so used to reading the text we thought it was slow. Fair enough for the SFX we didnt rly have anyone to help for those. Overall thank you for your kind comments and we will take that into consideration for the future, we will also have a look at your game soon so wishing you the best

This was very interesting to play. The game's lighting is lush and so vibrant it's incredible. The sprite work was good, the music was a nice swinging sound. The gameplay was cool and I loved being able to move the furniture, a detail I did not expect to see. Good Luck! :)
