How does the game fit into the theme?
"A Child's Nightmare" fits the theme by focusing on the psychological journey of the child. The game challenges players to keep moving forward, both physically, as they follow the light, and emotionally.
The theme of “KEEP MOVING FORWARD” is reflected in the child's struggle to survive and face their inner demons, with each level symbolizing a different night of their nightmares.
What premade assets did you use if any?
I used some free pixel art assets for basic environmental elements (such as furniture, doors, and simple objects). Additionally, sound effects were sourced from free libraries to enhance the atmosphere. All other assets were custom-made for the game.
