  • Great art work and overall design. A simple yet effective game play mechanic. However, it doesn't really teach about climate change. It is a solid base to start from though.

  • Really like the concept of controlling multiple characters at the same time. The jumping feels a little floaty and the camera a little odd.

  • Infuriating but in a good way! Let me be honest, I was absolutely awful at this game and it wasn't until I realised you could double jump that I stood any chance of getting more than two krill! Interesting concept, music is great, and I can see that complexity increases as the game progresses too. Some clearer narrative and tutorial about how it links to climate change and what educational value is to be taken away would be beneficial. The extra lives as penguins is a twist as it also makes it more difficult to play. Thank you - I enjoyed playing!

Hi, Paul,

Let me show you the science behind our game: we included a text about the species that appear on the game and how ice melting represents a danger to them on the Credits scene.  In case you haven't seen, I'm attaching it here. The game features' the Adélie penguin, a species from Antarctic that has been affected by the ice melting. During the gameplay, some blocks of ice may fall apart, showing the ice melting issue. The objective of the gameplay is to help those penguins survive and on purpose it is difficulty to reach the end of each level with all penguins alive. Notice that the ice melting is a consequence of the climate changes that are happening in our planet, which fits the jams' theme. Do you still have any doubt?

I found the game very good !! There are some improvements that I would like to propose:
1. define the glaciers more
2. Finish with the penguins diving in the ocean and swimming, finding puppies ...
3. Throughout the game show eggs to be collected as bonus gold
4. Include melting points throughout the game
5. put a brief tutorial
