I'm a bit confused for the term, classic text adventure. Does this include making graphical text adventures(like rouge)?

Hi Fireaid,

The intention being games that use written descriptions for the narrative and game play rather than a rougelike. See examples like Zork, Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, or more modern interactive fiction. You could certainly use an ASCII art map in your game if you wanted.
