I loved it. A fun mechanic, beautifully presented (and well explained) and somewhere in there is a message about choosing your targets carefully (much like trademark protection...).
I'd like to see a summary at the end of all of my swipes (32 A's, 24 F's and 3 S's; best swipe, etc that sort of thing), and the timers disappeared from view before time was up.
Feels like it should be called "Candy Balloon Surgeon". I must precisely cut small sets of balloons in a limited amount of time, or this square frosting based creature will die... O.O!
