I did 1481 damage at best.
I like your theme integration, as a result I'm always too conservative with using ammo, dying with plenty while I could certainly have scored better by using more.
The lack of feedback when getting hit by a bullet or a monster is weird, but this aside the game is fun and dynamic, the gameplay loop definitely works.

Fun little game. I like the art and the audio is decent. Not sure on the theme. I feel like the character is too fast, and it's hard to tell if you've taken damage. But I enjoyed playing it. I would play for longer if there was an end goal. But a solid 3/5. Good job!
